Whilst at Oxford University, Brod edited and published his college's weekly student magazine 'The 'Mancunian' for one term.

He was the motor sports editor for the RAF’s glossy sports magazine, RAF Active, and hosts this web site dedicated amongst other articles to his motor sport activities in his Hillman Imp and now to fund raising using his 1966 Porsche 912.

Is now a semi-freelance writer and photographer.
